Wilma Louise Fisk, age 87, passed away Wednesday evening, December 10, 2014 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She was a retired sales representative for Hyter Sporting Goods and a distributor for Prestige Coffee.
Wilma Louise (Shaffer) Fisk was born on January 3, 1927 in Dodge City, KS to Emil Shaffer and Florence (Dykeman) Shaffer.
Wilma married John R. "J.R." Fisk on August 10, 1974 in Perth, KS.
Wilma was a kind and gentle person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bridge, and collecting happy face clowns.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Lee McCombs; and two sisters, Alda Rains and Lelah Summers.
Survivors include her husband, J. R. Fisk of Wellington; son, Bill McCombs and his wife Diana of Wellington; two step-sons, Robie Fisk and his wife Kathi and Kelly Fisk and his wife Brenda both of Georgia; two grandsons; one granddaughter; six great grandchildren; one niece, and two nephews.
In honoring Wilma's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
A memorial has been established with the Wellington Food Bank in lieu of flowers. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
