Retired Teacher, Wilma Jean Nugen, age 91, of Wellington, KS died June 29, 2013 at the Harry Hynes Hospice Unit at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. Services will be held at the First Christian Church, 123 W. 9th, Wellington, KS at 10:30 A.M. on July 2, 2013 with Pastor Don Bryant officiating. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Lewis Nugen; son, Leon Nugen; and one brother.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda McCue and her husband Charley of Hutchinson, KS; daughter-in-law, Patty Nugen of Hazelwood, MO; granddaughter, Chelsea McCue Autrey and her husband Jarid, grandsons, John McCue and his wife Rebecca, Raymond Nugen, and Tony Nugen and his wife Kim; three great grandchildren, Mira McCue and Ethan and Joey Nugen; four nieces with their extended families and six nephews with their extended families.
Memorials have been established with the First Christian Church or the American Diabetes Association. Contributions can be left at the funeral home.
